I've heard, is it a Porsche a few times.
But what gets under the skin is when they ask if it is a Mustang.

You know your a starion freak when:

* your friends ask "How many of those cars have you got at the moment"

* you are impressed when people can talk to you for 5 minutes about them and you can tell they actually know something about them.

* you have to wipe drool off your face when you find a matching set of JB taillights in good condition.
Reduce fuel costs by 15-20% & cut emissions by 1/3rd...
Increase engine performance & prolong engine life...

*When you could have bought a brand new car with your engine rebuild budget
*Your engine managment system cost more then your daily driver
*You get nervous thinking your new turbo may hit the strut
*You pay $500 rego on the car your building even though it will be off the road
*Youve spent more on engine detailing then some have on entire rebuilds.

I apply to all those above :wtf:
-JA Starion with JD bits , Forged engine, Heaps of mods (parked up)
-BFII XR6 Turbo Ute , Here comes 400hp for 2k :p
-77 Mazda 323 drag car. 13bt rotary project.

In QLD anyway we usually get a letter a month before Rego runs out saying it needs to be paid. Get either 6 months or 12 months, If you dont pay the cars unregistered and made illegal to drive

To register the car again means a roadworthy, and another hour long wait at the DOT.

* You buy another Starion to use as a daily so you can do up your other one.
* You start modifying the daily driven Starion quite extensivly.
* When other Starion owners start contacting you for spare parts
