just my opinion but i think video footage of times is required. one of the slips the lady handed me last night when i was at wsid was for 11.7. incorrect time slips are easy to get hold of.
i know this is going to make it even more complicated but should there be a category for steet tyres and a seperate one for slicks. ive been told slicks are good for around 1 sec

Chrysler Conquest (SOLD)
270.6 Kw (362 HP) @ the wheels

It gets too hard with too many categories... are we going to weigh each of the cars to see if they have been stripped or are they carrying heaps of stereo gear? What fuel are they running eg race fuel or pump fuel?starion4me wrote:just my opinion but i think video footage of times is required. one of the slips the lady handed me last night when i was at wsid was for 11.7. incorrect time slips are easy to get hold of.

With your big mph it indicates you could shave a fair bit off that time with slicks!

lets us know next time you are going out..stazzavg30 wrote:I have run a 13.7 in stazzavg30 on 12psi. My 60 footer was crap.
I'm going to the creek in a couple of weeks to give it another go.
I have upped the boost to 15psi and hope to get a better launch. I know it's
not the 4 banger motor so I don't know if my times count.
and yes we will add you to the list...

my orange car ran a 13.061 at 105.49 mph last nite, and a 13.328 at 106.23 mph. will post pics tomorrow..
so close to a 12.. that 13.06 was actually on 18 psi instead of 20. and i fixed that, then the last run i absolutely fried the tyres on the launch.. d'oh!

since jamboree: multipoint injection, lsd, front koni's, dynoed 206kw at the wheels (276hp) and 225/50/16 bridgestone potenza S-03 pole position tyres on rear instead of 205/50/16 simex SM something-or-other
it did a 1.8 60 footer that run.
