help help twincam gearbox trouble!!!!!!!!!!
Great news for you guys, i have contact with a fella in the states who makes W55/58 adapters for the narrow block, price somewhere around $500 + shipping,
they are supposed to be designed for race use and capable of taking more power than the box will.
anyone want in on this, i asked about the group buy but didn't get a full answer, Zerog are supposed to be working in conjunction with development on this, so was leading to them being a better price?

Thanks Derek but i was just trying to offer some of the options available.
some of us may have complete rebuilt engines in the first place, yes your way may be easier with associated parts, but sometimes we get to a point where it's gotta work after all the money spent.
Now that there are a few different options maybe an open mind is whats required.
These guys in the states are doing the hard yards in development for the narrow block and gearboxes to go with it. may as well take advantage of that!

the adaptor plate it self isnt too hard took me about 3 hours to make and cost around $50 i thought it was the best option as i couldnt see the sence in puttin in a simga box and flywheel buy a good clutch and smashing it the first time i side step the clutch!!! im hoping to pull around 400 to 450 rwhp. so i dont think the sigma or starion box will hold up but we ll see soon enough!
also what is stronger narrow or wide and can u put a cradle in a wide block???????

A lot of options for the narrow blocks are starting to pop up thanks to bill here in the states.
