lost dash backlights

lost dash backlights

got in my car this mourning and turned the lights on (damm 6:30 starts) head lights fired up but the lights that iluminated the dash didnt. All the gauges and other lights work eg fuel warning and hand brake. My clock dosnt dimm either.
Does anyone have any ideas

with the clock it might be a fuse...dunno about other dash lights...maybe something has shorted them out.

does the starion have the little dial where u can decrease/increase the brightness of the dash lights? if so make sure it's not that otherwise u might look silly :P done it on the laser once :roll:

yer the dimmer was the first thing i checked
but all the lights everywere else are also out eg the heater lights

worked out that it was the fuse that controls the left tail light
have a feeling my stereo may have shorted it

thats.... odd, but you know these wacky starions, i swear the guys that wired em up were permanently fucked up on meth.
