Venue: BRISBANE
July/August 2007 3day meet
1:Sprints at Queensland Raceway Saturday
2: Maybe Drags Sat night
3: Gymkhana Sunday (ROAD)
4: Dinner Sunday night
5: Cruise Monday morning
6: Cruises to/from events
7: Dyno run's ?

There will Unfortunally have to be a contestant fee ($250-300?), but will include shirt, trophies, dinner events etc...

There will be a surcharge based on where U live.
Brisbane to Lismore Extra$50-70
Lismore-Newcastle Extra $20-50
Newcastle-Sydney Extra $0-20
Sydney-Melbourne NIL
Melbourne-Tas Nil
Same structure north & West of Brisbane

The reason for the Extra levees? Fuel money for distant travellers, EG some1 in Melbourne will receive $80-120? once they arrive at the meet. The people who live close don't have as much costs to the event & as a token/entice other who live further away to come.

Please note If u enter & can't turn up & the meet goes ahead, there will be no refund
BUT if U pay & the event doesn't go ahead moneys will refunded.

We also need a register of Brisbane based people to Billet people to reduce cost for hotels etc, also makes it easier to get to events with some1 who know how to get there.
We also need sponsors, I would also ask if there is any partner who would like to help to let it be known as well. Maybe we can start a new heading for the event of a life time.

Yeah, i'd say start a new thread to start getting things organised properly.

The problem with this country is that everything is too far from everything else.. so no matter where it is, there's always going to be problems with location. I'm just happy that someone is putting their hand up to organise.

Entry fee is ok - the fuel bonus for interstaters is not a bad idea either.

I should probably start working on the car again :)

on that note, engine bay is now resprayed, car is completely de-rustfied and im startin to put things back together. :) Oh yeah manifold/turbo dramas are sorted out as well.

Guys, I drove to Sydney in December last year, and the entire trip down, and around there, and back, only cost me about $150 ub fuel. Granted you will be driving it a little more heavy then I was when here, but still, its the event of a life time for Starion owners. PLEASE try and make this happen.

Besides, if you save $45 per week from now until the event that will give you an easy $2000 for the event. That is way too much money for this, but still.
