coil overs suck
most people in the U.S. are thinkers, some are do'rs. others dont give a
ph&k. anyway i want to share an idea of mine with my pals across the water. these shity factory struts can be REPLACED!! replaced you say?
YES replaced. where the lower ball joint bolts up to the spindle, look in that opening there. see that weld bead. it can be cut out, and the stru junk'd. now the spindle can be set up for threading by a competent machinist, so the spindle can be utilized for the multi adjustable struts/shocks. i am working with a world wide known company that handles struts/shocks, to have a kit set up for these cars. ill have a few pics posted in my yahoo photos next week or 2 then i will post the links to it

yeah good thinking i`ve been investigating a similar idea over here, i`ve shipped a full set of struts to sydney to be assessed by an importer here, to see what can be done.. but i`m interested to see what u come up with too, could even work out cheaper thru you because of economies of scale etc, so yeah keep us posted! :beer

getting a feel for people that
"ARE INTERRESTED"
SPREAD THE WORD GUYS TO PEEPS WHO HAVENT BEEN ON HERE IN A WHILE.
I want to go to this company with a SPECIFIC number of people, not a round about number.
this way when I go to the sales personel & the engineer I can say;
1) i have "XX people" that want this product.
2)what will be the time limit on prodution?
I will also set it up the next time i visit their shop to have payments sent to them, this way I can have a group buy type of thing. buy in bulk & pay somewhat less type of thing.
also I'm still working with them on a price. hopefullt with a group/bulk buy
I can get them to come off their price somewhat....
