Post by Star_V8_Quest »

I have noticed the front bumper fog lites are different than ours here in the US.Looks like there isn't any fog lite bezel.how do you get the lites out to change the bulbs?

On the JA, there isnt any real fog lights to speak of, just parking lights, the front lense comes off and the globe is changed from the front.

Dunno about JB/D ones.

saw one for sale on ebay UK.....if it wasnt for the shipping,I would buy it.Looks cleaner than our cars. That center piece will come off?
I also like the rear license plates on the UK cars.Looks like the rear lites are bigger or is that a seperate piece wiht the back up lite?

All one piece at the back. That is what we refer to as JB/JD lights.

Our JA front bumpers are the same as what was sold on the '83 starion your way. It's the same model that had the vented bonnet all US people seem to want and always seem to be in short supply.

The rear view you posted is a UK/euro spec tail-light. The extra lights you see are fog lights (damn bright too). They were never sold on Aus models.

thanks for the info. Our turn lites on all models sit deep in the bumper.I like the flush mount look of the JA style.
I did notice the tail lites are different than then UK style.I like both.

All you'd need then is the lenses & assembly.

Unusual colour on the Starion. Is it Mitsu. Sienna red??

Unsure whether it has a front spoiler, but a JD skirt from Redzone would make it look great!!
