Head
There was a DOHC head made for a 2.6L, was a special done by waggott cams, was a long time ago, saw the head a IVAN TIGHE'S back in 1984-86, I enquired about it, only 4 were made. Other option is to bore a 2.4L to 90mm? Y need to sleeve the block to do it, expensive but a good sleeper. :beer

The only 4G54 DOHC heads were made by HKS for Ralliart to suit NA and were limited to a dozen. A couple of guys in the US are doing a business venture and making a similar head for the US guys. Pics and info on the US forums.
Alternatively, a 4G64 DOHC bored out to 2.5 or even 2.6 would go well.
What's wrong with your current 4G63 DOHC?

No im not joking, ive just liked them for ages. Its only a weekend car so it wouldnt cost $500 a week in fuel. A late model DOHC v8 might be a bit wide and i wouldnt use a dinosaur v8.
Has anyone seen the toyota sprinter with a 600ps 20B in it on google video or am i the only one?
The 20B gets a 1600+kg Cosmo moving quite well.
Current engine to slow!
