Well the previous owner was ahead of you all cause when i got my starion it came with a cold air intake made of PVC piping and the top of a coke bottle acting as the reducer into the standard intake pipe

Tested out my PVC inlet pipe today. No worries doesnt even look like getting hot. Now cookie about that exhaust, I have some 100mm stormwater pipe left over from work.

LOL the pvc pipe and coke bottle came out already, meh i would prefer metal pipe between the turbo and airbox and then aero style steel ribbed rubber tubing, works the treat and stays the same diameter all the way through, cost is like $6 a foot though, me raids the store room

Cheers

I'm almost sure "nitronick" on starquest club uses pcv intercooler piping (photos on website). 16G + nitros on tbi 2.6 runs 12.4s quarters

speaking of nitro it is injected at roughly -110 to -120 degC and so greatly reduces charge air temp upto 50 to 60 degC in most cases. BUT.... nitro fuck's your engine.... interesting situation.... :-)
