Louvres

Post by Junkers »

Hey all

Had a search and came across the post about louvres, but none of the pictures worked so I was wondering if any of you guys had any good pics of starions with them? I'm still trying to decide if I want some.

Cheers

thats not really a louver, they run the whole length of the rear hatch like Aunger car company used to make. have only seen them on one starion at a wreckers, and it was painted white to match car.

The louvers on that (now 5 speed :) ) GSR-X definately, and probably the red one too, do look nice but they have play in them. So if you have thoughts of a sub-woofer, Id avoid it, I can just imagine them rattling like crazy.

I'm planning on swapping my louvre hatch for a standard hatch when I have the car repainted. The louvres are actually screwed in, I didnt check to see if holes in the glass are required - but I assume so.

I have a louvre I removed many years back. Sitting next to my shed. Had those double sided sticky things to hold it on, but the brackets they were attached to that held it on the glass are scattered around the shed or boot.

If anyone wants one, I'll gladly swap it for something of equal value. I suppose a rust free passenger door or straight front left fender would be asking too much, eh? :D
