Post by Fryman »

Hey PeopleZ

I dont have a starion no more, havent had one for some time but i always come here to read whats new as these cars have a big place in my heart.

I have imported a car now from japan, has been in the country for about 1 month.

Specs here --> http://www.j-spec.com.au/list/1528

and Pictures from tokyo here --> http://www.colognes.com.au/FC3C/

Pictures dont do this car justice, as many people have said.

Thanks to Tom (TMZ_99) for helping me pick it up from the quarantine place. That was a day to be celebrated.

Comments and such are appreciated.

Lukian

p.s you cannot see the metal flakes in those photos, but its a House of Kolor Candy Gold

Have you got any idea what needs to be changed? You don't have to take all the good bits off do you? It's over 15 years old, I thought they would be a little more lenient on things.

the extensive list that is involved to get that thing on the road is follows

-- Battery relocation and Fastening to the boot
-- Dash working - speedo and other auxilairies
-- Tuning
-- Engineers Sign Off
-- raised to highest point and damper settings to the softest ( there is no travel up or down [ohlins] )
-- External 50ml HKS Gate Plumbed in
-- reweld drivers seat in (safetys sake)
-- unseize/bleed brakes
-- Adj twin/triple plate (not sure which one it is) also tell it to shut up
-- Change mazdaspeed mech 4.3 to a one that doesnt make no noise.

After it passses the pits (god willing)

-- front rear and sideskirts will be repainted.
-- relower
DO A BURNOUT

that is all

I'm a bit clueless when it comes to s4's and s5's but I assume that is a s5 by the year?

1989 would make it a series 4, AKA - FC

This one has also got some series 5 components installed, AKA - FD

Think series 5 started at 1992
Powerplant: Chipped stock ECU, 2044cc, 8.5:1, head intake enlarged and polished, exhaust manifold enlarged,
Balance-shafts eliminated, Intercooled, TC06 @ 10psi, 2.5" high flow exhaust system and dump pipe.

the s6 'FD' started in 92, the s5 looks very similar to s4 but has minor differences, which I have no idea what they are :?
