No problem, I understand how hard it is to find pictures of these things. Lucky there are lots of us on this forum who like helping those who have difficulty helping themselves. This is a "standard" starion scoop:AussieFella wrote:The standard item? I dont know what the standard item is, im a Magna driver... :P I just got told Starion scoops were good...

I have a 1987 Mitsubishi Magna TN Executive.....Turbo
Its getting very hot and rather than devise some kind of clever CAI, i figure a scoop is the way to go...

theres not somthing wrong with a starion scoop on a magna theres EVERYTHING wrong with a starion scoop on a magna. if the reason your putting the scoop on your car is to get rid of hot air and not cosmetic then there are far more function and attractive options. the starion scoop isnt really functional in the cooling sense if anything it servs to induce a high pressure pocket where there would normally be a low pressure area

I have no problems with him sticking a starion scoop on a magna, i've seen it before and it looks 10 times better than some aftermarket fibreglass job.
Just make sure he uses a bonnet that is rusty (eg along the front edge or somewhere else he doesn't need) or one that has been damaged in some way but still has a good scoop. If he was to cut up a real nice bonnet then i might get a bit
