Post by airbats801 »

I've been planning on doing a 1jzgtte swap to my 86 conquest, and have just been keeping my eye out on the prices.

Well ended up winning an auction for a 1jzgtte with 5 speed, and all sensors for 560usd. Dirt friggan cheap =D

Now all I need is a wiring harness and ecu.

The fun is going to really start when i start trying to fit everything in. I'm removing the abs so I shouldnt have any problem with clearance on the passenger side. I just hope to hell that the intake manifold will clear the brake booster. God damn left hand drive cars.

There is a guy near my place who has fitted one to a flat body Starion. Also, hcca from this forum is in the midst of completing a 2JZGTE conversion into his Starion. His website is www.twinturbostarion.cjb.net
