Also, I need to change my signature, as the GSR-III has no engine or doors now. Its not looking good for Mr Rattles.

A helpful hint: When removing doors, do not use one arm to undo, and the other arm to hold the door if you are a 55kg weakling. It turns out, when the last bolt comes out, the door falls, slams on the ground, then you trip up, and land face first on the inner door (no door trim). Id also like to add that it %**%(ing hurts when you do that.

Aww... come on! I bolted on and aligned my doors all by myself :) (yes, it really sucked).

You're not planning a $70 respray are you? :wtf:

$70? no way, I had to buy $13 of body filler, and $50 of primer too yano!
Its just to make it one colour, later on Ill repaint it properly. Its going to be my run-about up-north for 5 weeks.

I did my doors by myself also, I did the fall today because I was rushing the job. I had to replace the passenger door in the space of two hours, including changing seatbelts, the trim, removal of rust on the new door, new door respray, electrics etc in order to get my warrant retest done today. Drivers door is aligned correctly, passenger door needs encouragment to close (just needs to be quick, you cant slowly close it).

hehe
well its black now :)

Not exactly a fantastic job, its kinda like a ghetto knightrider, but its all one colour. First time ever spraypainting, so yeah, had some lessons to learn. Some parts are perfect, some parts average, some parts eww.

Engine is rattling a bit, so its going to need a tune by the sound of it.

Yes you can! It looks like ass.

Due to a few things, Im back home again, so will take pic or two soon. Its definately going to need to be re-sprayed. As much as I like the textured effect, Id prefer an even shine. Live and learn I guess.
