sideskirts

Post by stariontron »

everyone wants them, but theyre expensive to buy for starions... was talking to a guy today who reckons dc2 integras are about the right length, and so are s13 silvias.. has anyone tried adapting another car's skirts to fit? success?

$1500 for sideskirts

again with the fibreglassing, i will be looking into how much effort it will be to make a set, along with other things on the car (3 piece wing, front skirt etc) but it wont be even thought about till the car is moving again.

OMG that rear bar looks horn!

Is there a bit they have stuck onto the rear quarter panel to fill in the gap? (between the back and wheel arch)

If someone does arrange a GP i'll be in on it as well. I need a front spoiler, and wouldn't mind the side skirts and rear bar as well.

Ive had all of those parts at one time or another, they are top quality and all fit without any problem, except for the sideskirts i had which were FUCKED, snapped in half and chipped everywhere, ive seen some brand new ones fitted and they were perfect. John at Aerotech is an absolute top bloke aswell, very nice to deal with. But you should know that that front skirt WILL NOT fit a later model front bumper, as they are a slightly different shape.

LXS - There are no extra parts on that rear bar, its one piece, it has a cap that covers the rear black rubber part of the bumper, and extends all the way foward to the wheel arch. They are indeed damn sexy. Would be interesting to see if you could adapt one to fit your widebody....

Im trying to remember prices, but i think it was along the lines of:
Front Skirt $391
Rear Skirt $391
Side Skirts $450

no idea on the spoiler, but i got one in my garage waiting to go on :).

hehe, and i thought my car was an individual having an aerotech dam in aus! then gotsom got one - then there was a group order! lol. The only bad thing i can say about aerotech is that they're in NZ!!! damn shipping costs a fair bit :( Although i am still interested in getting a rear skirt
