I'll be there in one of my unwashed, unpolished & ratty looking machines. The question remains, even for me, which one I will drive. Probably the silver one so I've got year by year progression of the paint fade LOL. If I get the black one miraculously running in time then I'll probably bring two of them.

Hey guys, what's the weather gunna do this weekend for the "Picnic" show. As my car is ready, I still want to come over so hope its not a washout or I'm gunna waste a lot of $$$'s. The show website is saying its still on, so I guess we had all better support it. I'm guessing overall numbers will be down, both entrants & spectators, but its still a great show.

Big thanks to Hitchy again for making his place available to meet for the mini-cruise into the park.

Hi Panda & other attendees

weather suppose to be clearing this afternoon and tomorrow, only possible shower tomorrow. currently scattered cloud with sunshine near the venue, but it's a bit chilly. Tomorrow should be the same. Bring a jumper!!!

Touch and go to have the lancer ready will hopefully turn it over in the next couple of hours and get the finishing touches done.

Been burning the midnight oil to get it ready to attend tomorrow.

Cheers,

HItchy

The weather was ordinary on the day, cold & periods of rain. It made the display quite small & kept many visitors away.
As a group we took a few snaps, here's one from my tiny collection:

I'd like to thank all for braving the elements. I'd also like to publicly congratulate Andy for working many long hours prior preparing the Rally Lancer in time, Pete for coming across from SA to join us again & Fab from sigma-galant.com who came down from Ballarat.

May next year be bigger & a whole lot better & with a tonne more Starions on display!

As Enthuzed mentioned, weather effected turn out but still great to catch up and hear everybody's stories.

Hopefully next year we can get more Starion and classic Mitsubishis to attend.

Cheers,

If anyone gets an opportunity to read this months "Unique Cars" magazine, my JB and Bluesystems widey are pictured on page 17 as part of the story about the Picnic at Hanging Rock classic car show.
Bit of a shame the pic didn't show all the Mitsubishi's that made the effort to be there.
Still, its nice to be acknowledged.
