I have had 22mm rear and 24mm front selby's / whiteline for a while and they fit into stock mountings.

That's interesting, as these sway bars are selby's/ whiteline ??Starion_Turbo wrote: I have had 22mm rear and 24mm front selby's / whiteline for a while and they fit into stock mountings.
I have been told that there is no bushing possible for the rear greater than 18/19mm with original mounts. Would be nice to see
how your rear 22mm one's were mounted? With or without bush?

22mm rear sway bar
Yes it is possible to use a 22mm sway bar in the stock mounting. The bush ends up being very thin though, but seem to work fine with no odd noises.
I used a 22mm rear whiteline bar, with 21mm Noltec bushes that required the outside to be filed down to fit, a very tight fit indeed, but the bar moved freely and made no odd noises.

With regard to those pics above, I was there when the car was getting molested while fitting the larger saddles to house the 22mm bushes.
It involved drilling in an additional bracket under the cross member to fit the larger saddle.
At the time I thought it was strange they could not produce a proper bush or modify the existing bracket. Very fiddly around the exhaust side!
Mookeeh have a special on at the moment on ebay with 25mm and 21mm sway bars with bushes. No mods required.
US$199 plus US$169 shipping to Oz! They're usually for sale for US$269....
