Alspos & enthuzed messing about at Sandown vids

Get two lads, add an opportunity after an organised motorkhana, throw them in a Starion & point them towards a "plumb crazy" motorkhana test.

The results:

Reduce fuel costs by 15-20% & cut emissions by 1/3rd...
Increase engine performance & prolong engine life...

Al & Frank, the Australian Motorkhana Championships are being held here in Mount Gambier, SA, next October 6 & 7th. We're expecting close to a 100 cars for a big weekend. Let me know if you want more info.
I've been appointed as the Results Manager for the event. Would be great to see a Starion at the Nationals.
PS - 2nd Vid looked sweet.

Second vid was Frank obviously...he'd been at it all day and it's his car so he treated it a bit more brutally than I did!

I might consider that, if you sweeten the deal by supplying a car from your fleet Pete, I'll contribute to the " tearing the old tyres" fund & you'll see your own car in the Nationals. :P  Nah, the car would have to come with a slippy diff & good handbrake, even then it's not that competitive in it's class...It's been proven that I can drive anyone else's MX5 (read as a car I don't know) with an open diff quicker than my own car :x

Frank, plenty of time still to consider numerous options. Stay in touch, you never know what we might unfold. The JB you saw at Hanging Rock has a LSD & a good "cable" handbrake. I ran this car at the Ararat Hillclimb last year so has had the cobwebs blown out of it.

Great Steering Frank with more practice you'll be as good as me!
When you hit the tree between the headlights that’s understeer. When you hit the tree between the tail lights that's oversteer!
