HI Jeff, I was wondering if you would pop a request on here.

Be interested to know what you find on stripdown.

Buyer beware - the cam wheel suggested by Bigmoz looks great in the ebay advert, even says it will fit any SOHC 4G63, but after contacting them, they tell me it only fits a SOHC 16V cam, not an 8V. Moz cannot be blamed for not knowing.

Buy the ones that go on twincam motor and sell the other one. I have a Tomei twin cam one. Only down side is the pulley is wider and the plastic cover need to get spaced out

The ebay seller has apologised & gave me a full refund due to the incorrect wording in the advert. Luckily the item was never sent.
So I'm still looking for a genuine SOHC 8V cam pulley that doesn't need any mods to fit. Sorry Jeff, I seem to have stolen your post.
Thats 2 of us looking now, maybe a GB coming up ??

I thought the gears are the same for SOHC & DOHC.
Why don't one of you buy a pair and sell the spare to the other?

Just by a pair and split with Jeff...
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/TOMEI-CAM-GE ... 4ab47e43bb
$180 each.

Or just buy one for yourself...
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Tomei-Adjust ... 20c0f29dc7
$190 sold individually.

or save some buck and buy a different brand.
Just search eBay for "adjustable cam 4g63"

mrb1 on the forums sells Gates racing ones, but they seem to be a bit dearer than the ebay ones mentioned

Last time I saw, I thought he had ones for SOHC, but it looks like now he specifically mentions they are DOHC ones

I was thinking of one of those ebay ones.

I thought I heard the DOHC timing belt had different shape teeth, so would mixing and matching DOHc and SOHC bits be OK? Would it just wear the belt quicker?

I used a DOHC cam gear on my Galant turbo(4g64 sohc 8-valve). No problem with the timing-belt, no plastic cover on top.
