LOL... "American drifting." It's embarrassing. And most of the people in it now are just fad followers, with a punk "I'm better than you attitude" trying to show off instead of just being there because it's fun. It used to be cool 10 years ago when it was still sort of underground, but these honda civic kids jumped in and ruined it. Especially the really ugly and stupid looking modifications... and the bro'd out stickers every where.

Apologies for the rant, but I really dislike what it has become... I miss the good ol' days. I'll stick to my backroads.

I've been out to the track with the staz but not drifting, Its a very abusive sport on the cars thrashing the shit out of them and crashing, Starions are too rare and have too much character for that, hence why we have a 180sx pig drift car to abuse. I might build up one of my starions to drift eventually but I have too much respect for my JB to do that to it

each to their own i spose.. why not invest in a cheap ja starion then? also taking out the jb for a few laps even with not to much strain on it wouldn't be that bad.. but for me if shit breaks you just fix it, thats cars.. no matter what car it is, your going to have to fix it eventually.

My plan was to take the blue one out but it is too far gone, sitting in a paddock for 20 years didn't do it any justice, a shame considering how low the kms are but the rust has gotten the better of it unfortunately. I have since got another ja but haven't had the time to do it yet. That has been our plan from Day one as my brother and I are pretty much going halves in them all.

We are selling our 180sx drift car at the moment and might put that money into a full setup track car for both drifting and possibly Adelaide Targa and similar events.

Didnt you only paint that starion blue a year or so ago? I'd be just getting something thats driveable together, towing it to the track and just getting a bit of practice time.. thats what i want to aim for atm..
