Excellent work. Can she do sketches of a Starions which would make a great wall display. I'm sure there would be a market for something like that through this forum.

My engine was taken out from starion, due to gasket problems and few other things.
now it is a good moment to purchase upgrated parts.

my question is, following this web side, there are big choices about pistons for 4g63t, depending on the car generation, which one will fit starion?
http://www.nolimitmotorsport.com/wiseco ... bishi.html
and also how about forged crank and rods. i have to try to find it in EUrope, so it is not that easy market for starion.

Tommi What do you want to do?
You do not need a forged crank IF you stay 2 litre just buy a Wiseco/Eagle piston and rod set OR you can buy a stroker kit with a 92/94/100 mm stroker crank ,pistons and rods as it all depends on how far you want to go.
May I suggest you change to an MPI and a Haltec P100 if funds allow for more power and better tuning?.

I was looking at Arias pistons after hearing some good reviews from them. However, like many things on the internet you can find good and bad reviews for other makes! Price was about £500 I think, quite a bit I thought.

Are you planning on building it yourself or have an engine builder do it for you? If a builder, speak to them about what works, what doesn't and how much money it will cost to do what you want to achieve.

As Rad said, MPI is a good option for reliability and tunability.

i still have mpi taken off from my old galant 2.0 Sohc, it was e3 series, do you think this mpi will fits starion engine?

what is it Haltec P100??

and about pistions and rods, i just need 85.50, so any from evo 1,2,3 galant, will fits? is this any problem that pisons are made for 16v and starion is 8v?

my target will be to instal this hks dedicated turbo that i have in my garage. if i remmber it was dedicated for 330 hp

16v-pistons are ok but the EVO ones have another pin so they won't fit the conrod.
Go for the galant/eclipse 1g ones (6-bolt).

I think rebuild kits are still available from USA. Either way, I think a power steering specialist should be able to rebuild your pump, there are usually quite a few hidden away on industrial estates.
