I've had mine since 03 07 92

Interesting, but guess its only worth it if you are trying to wring out as much HP as possible. For most people turning up the boost is probably easier :P

Agreed but for me it was all about improving the efficiency of the 4 v heads .If one reads the article they recessed the seat of one valve and had different inlet valves and ported it accordingly along with the exhaust side to get a better flowing head to produce more power at the same boost.
On my racing budget I will just turn up the boost another 5 psi

I think the point was not for outright power but to improve the driveability of small capacity 4 cylinder engines as Rad said. The fact that your race engine will also benefit from the changes is a byproduct.

yeah there's not enough focus on efficiency in the aftermarket.. people are too busy chasing power and being cheap about it lol

Must be great to have access and time to do all that sort of stuff.

I always hoped variable compression ratio engines would get developed. I think the closet/best solution was one done by Saab.

Needs an independent review; The author is writing about his own patent,
on his own website.

I suspect there isn't much gain over conventional setups.
