Looking very neat - as always.

But I have often thought....
It would be great if a window (one of those fold out to the rear things) could be fitted here.
Any tinsmiths or hot rodders on board here?
Has anyone tried this on Starquest?
Or am I dreaming?

Thats a very important structural area of the car...
Fibreglass airdams $370, fibreglass front bumpers $260, reco drag links $165, alloy radiators $925 (unpolished), h/l switch rebuilds $125, all plus freight.

Update

I put the drivers side in.

Issues. When sliding the vent in it tends to pull the rubber off the bottom corner of the vent (the vent slides into a slot and then the top pushes in where a nut holds the whole lot in place) I rolled the rubber a bit forwards so when it went into place it rolls back a little...seems to work well. I reckon you could put some detergent on the rubber to help it slip if need be.

Passenger side....*sigh* The rubber I put on the other side sat on a JA vent for a while so it was sort of the right shape. And I think the flange on the JA vents is slightly higher than on the US vents I have....so the rubber isn't staying in place when I put it on. It keeps popping off so I can't get it back on...I haven't even got close to the car with it. So...I either glue it on or put it on my old JA vent and hope it sort of cures into shape like the first.

Anyway, thanks for stopping by :)

All done. Two days of the vent sitting outside with the rubber in place was enough to get it on without the rubber continually popping off. Yay me!
