Had a drive of the SDT's latest addition to the fleet .It was the new Hachi Roku 86 :luv :luv :luv :luv

Lol Rad.

Most of the guys I know that have bought them are "satisfied", they say it's a little underpowered, but that can be fixed.

Speaking of, we are currently working with CHE on a bolt on FMIC, kit, as they have one in for a Turbo conversion atm.

Can't believe it wasn't turbo'd from the factory as standard.

I think the market is flooded with turbo subarus already so they tried for something different

I have been hearing allot of good things about the 86, My little brother has one on order at the moment and he should have it new from the factory by the end of the year.
Looks like ill never be able to own one now, is there anything worse than owning the same car as your little brother if he bought it first? well maybe besides buying the same tee shirt when you where still 12 years old. LOL

Just drove the 86 a few k's to Mt Cotton to use it for driver training yesterday and if my JB had the same R&P steering and gearshift feel it would be perfect.
Great supportive seats definately not for those with OS bootys/butts.
Not a fan of the smaller speedo
