Initial D game

Post by NachoMan »

David and I just bought s copy of the 'Initial D Mountain Vengeance' game.

Good graphics.
Not so good car dynamics.

It was cheap, only $18, from Target of all places!

If you are a fan, it's worth it, although all of the audio, (including music), is from the Tokyo Poop Americanised DVD's.

Still good for a laugh...

I've got the closest thing to initial d for the ps2 at the moment, i got it at the start of the year from Big W of all places. It's called Road Rage 3 ( nothing to do with the simpsons one) cost me bout $20!
It has a picture of a AE86 Panda on the front,, the game also has a WideBody Starion as well as turbo Sigma( know as a lancer).
The aim of the game is to race downhill as well as up hill. Initial D style gaining points for maintaining drift. After winning races you get the panda AE86 and using it in more races you can mod it up totally to look just like TAKS car.
The stazz is a good bonus, though it doesn't handle as good as the trueno. :x but you can mod it up after winning races.

On ebay there is the Japanese Version of the INITIAL D game.
:o
I think that it's a direct copy of the Arcade. Problem is that it's NTSC and in Japanese. The seller does have an english Translation though.
C if i can find it again.
