hey guys! Looking at a car (E39A VR-4) which is in Townsville and I realised that it's quite far away from Brisbane and not so easy to go look before the auction ends.
The car currently has no rego or RWC so I just want to check the basics and check the body for rust and obvious faults which would fail a WRC.
My plan is to get it a RWC while the car is up in Townsville then get new plates/register and spend a weekend/couple days driving back down to Brisbane.
Another option is to get it transported down - is there anyone on here who could point me to a good transport company or have hook-ups for a good deal?
Thanks!
Anyone in Townsville?

Have a look at this one in Sydney. It's in the yard that Rob works at.

at that price for the first one shit no! I have been eyeing up that second maroon one though, especially as the price keeps dropping!
The one I was looking at is a relatively tidy white AU spec with light mods for $1500 buy it now. Needless to say it was sold within hours! It did need a RWC and a battery though. I would prefer to find one in QLD if possible as I'm not sure how much extra red tape I have to go through to get an out of state car, especially one which wouldn't have a RWC/rego to drive back to Brisbane.
