BUMP

Hi guys. Have been in talks with a guy in the states for these coilovers again. I would like an expression of interest for these. Here are the costs delivered in Australia. Then there is of course local shipping to your door or pickup if your in QLD is fine. I can bring them up to my work in brisbane to make it easier as well for some.

Let me know if your interested. I want to get the ball rolling on this. Thanks.

5-7 sets Total cost delivered $1140 USD per set
7-9 sets Total cost delivered $1110 USD per set.

Here are the same coilovers on ebay

Don't know whether you're aware or not Woody, but there is a distributor in Australia now: http://www.autosports.com.au/
They are in Sydney & I've dealt with them recently to get another set of springs and they were very helpful; maybe if you put a group buy to them they might come to the party with a competitive price?
BTW, I am very happy with my D2's that I got in the last GB.

What spring rates did you end up getting?
How much were the springs?

Cheers... :beer

9.8kg is the new rate, and apparently that's as high as you can get for our setup.
I haven't fitted them yet, but if I find the new ones not quite right I'll call them back to see why we can't go any higher.
My plan is to switch the current fronts to the rear & new ones on the front.

Cost, $140 for the pair plus $20 to ship to Melbourne.

Got quoted from a guy in america for brand new d2 coilovers. $1034 including tax and shipping to my door!!

Unless maybe a group buy we could get close to $999.99 maybe? Otherwise i think im sold for that price... basically hundred dollars cheaper then buying locally.

You will actually find that the Aussie distribution for D2 has just changed. I was talking to the new distributor earlier this week. If jm get caught shipping to aus they will be in deep pop with D2. You will also find your warranty is void.

whos the new distributor for D2 in Australia? I was unaware of this.. and i can't believe that a product is invalid in warranty due to being bought from another country? i think its blasphemy to be honest.. but it was around the 1000 mark which is what i was aiming for.. i guess i should keep quiet about said person selling product.

The warranty deal is standard practice & the ACCC/Fair Trading is on the manufacturers side. Unless the Manufacturer has an expressed world wide warranty, the local seller doesn't have to honour the warranty.

Andrew Scar is his name, D2 Australia is the company. The new web site will be up in a few days.
