FS - Starion less engine and gearbox

Post by DD Phil »

For sale is my purple Starion. It's been in bone dry storage for approx 10 years.

Work and kids mean I won't be finishing it in the next 10 years.

When we painted it, every panel was replaced with brand new ones. The front end is seam welded.

Every item that could be replaced was, the door hinges alone were approx $1000.

I spent over $13k on new parts, $5k on paint, another $1k on power coating etc.

It has an LSD also.

Make me an offer for the complete car, I'm not interested in parting it out.

Pics to follow.

callan - those simmons in phil's sig were sold to mrbishi ages ago, how then sold them with his jb.

Looks like the car is sold anyway, phil has taken a deposit on it already.

Yes, the 16" Simmons were sold about 15 years ago, I got them back when I bought my white Staz.

They were originally swapped to FR18s which KIT wears now.

The ROH 19s are in Tassie.

Yes, after 20 odd years, my purple Staz is sold.

Thanks for the interest guys.

Dave has the doors and 1/4 panels from it. The chassis itself was probably one of the worst I have ever seen, perforated massively and filled with bog.

Paint was ruined and there was no LSD as advertised. Missing a windscreen and tail lights, subframe hadn't been powder coated aswell etc.

Probably the fifth starion ever sold to me missing about half of what was advertised.

If this vehicle was put back together again, magnets would not stick to it.
