Console is back from trimmers

Post by Vulpes »

Looks a lot better than it does in this flash photo light. Will post some better pics once the car is on the road again and the side pieces in front of the console are on to finish it off.

Gear knob is just sitting on top of the leather to see how it looks. I am making a short shifter up and gearbox is out at the moment. Sorry about the dark pics.

Looks nice, but why black and not light brown to match the seats etc?

I wanted to bring in another colour. The instrument hood is already black and the inserts in the dash are black. Besides its a lot easier to match black then tan. Later on when I get more trimmed if i ever do then they can be done on black leather as well. It doesnt look as out of place as you might think.

:beer to woody for winning the prize. You get a fully paid vacation to Darryls Fox Ranch in beautiful downtown Kurrajong. Seriously good spotting though, I blew it up and still couldnt make out what it was.

sweet I may cash that in one day rofl

Nice console though. Unfortunately it wont suite my designs. The standard one is best suited for me atm. But it looks nice.

How much did trimming cost?

Vulpes, wheres the horn button trim ring for the steering wheel?
They look heaps better with them than without, plus it's harder then for your steering wheel to be removed from your car (remember the old days of steering wheel locks?) :P
Reduce fuel costs by 15-20% & cut emissions by 1/3rd...
Increase engine performance & prolong engine life...
How?
