yes Mal, out of my four cars I was only able to get two pieces of glass that had no scrathes in them. The problem is fixed by putting new felt on the guides. Wont happen again.

How many hours (estimate) did you use just for the recolouring? 20?

yes i gues you would be correct, probably about 20 hours just in painting. All up i'd say about 4 days work.

New windscreen went in yesterday and I took it for the firt drive in 5 weeks, it was awesome. New glass is so ..............so.............clear !

Well thanks to Steve ( dirty sanchez ) I now have a beautiful widebody leather interior front and rear seats and perfect black door trims I will post some pics tomorrow. I have hilighted the small panel in the door trim in the same contrasting tan. Looks amazing. Cant believe what a difference it makes. I therefore now have two perfect ( and I mean perfect, no rips tears cracks nothing ) front tan seats plus a rear seat plus perfect door trims. If you know my car you know how perfect these items are. The seats are as new. $400 the lot plus heaps of brown trim parts as well.
