How Many Thrashes Does It Take To Change A Light Bulb?

Post by thrash »

So my staz now only has one eye..

What's the easiest way to get to the globe and change it?

Is it an H4? Or do I actually need to buy a complete new housing? I remember someone on the forums saying it wasn't a sealed beam headlamp.. methinks that was Redzone?

It's an H4 globe, and you won't need a new lens/housing unless yours is damaged

*Pop the headlight up
*Remove the screws on the side and remove the plastic shroud
*Remove the screws on the metal bezel and the bezel itself
*Remove lens
*Unplug plug from back of globe
*Remove brass spring on back of lens by pushing down and turning
*Globe should be free to remove and replace

Good luck
:)

How many men does it take to bitch-slap thrash so he wakes up and attempts this difficult task on his own?

rofl

it wasn't that it's a daunting task, just that my car is my daily driver and is also parked on the street these days, so I cannot afford to pull it apart and leave it in pieces because I realise I need something or have to get tools from my storage which is 20kms away.. So I was worried that i'd need to pull the whole pop up light assembly off or that i might actually have to purchase a full new housing.
