Might be a bit stretchy and aggressive for most of you guys, but 15x10's with 205/50's look pretty awesome
I'm going to run 15x8 0 offset Sportmax mesh on the front with 195/50's and 15x10 Superlites with 205/50's on the rear
Might need some guard work but it will look awesome when it's got 80mm ground clearance at the chassis rails :D

A 205/50 over a 10 inch rim will look great on it's own, if a little impractical, but those sort of tyre profiles really aren't suitable for a car that comes standard with 215/60/15's.

Not 100% sure the rears will fit without modifying? Just what you're after, right? Unfortunately 15in, not 16in, but they look cool!
Another set of simmons wheels to suit starion on ebay (in 16in). No problems with fitment here!

but if we all stayed with stock tyre profiles/sizes we'd be a rather boring bunch, wouldn't we :P
jks mate, I see where you're coming from. It would most likely throw the speedo out, would defs need guard work and the cops would swarm on you like flies to Aldi lol

jwebb, just stating the obvious technical problems associated with tyres that size, not dissin your desire to be different. Hell, go the tens (at least) all round and pull off my bosozoku style race weapon concept as mentioned here: http://forums.austarion.com/viewtopic.p ... sc&start=0 , just don't be boring, whatever you do :D

Hi guys

I've been reading the various posts on this not really any the wiser on the hows and why's stuff doesn't fit etc....

I'm looking into replaceing the wheels that Darryl put on the car i bought (nothing wrong with them, just not my cup of tea). so i was wondering if these would fit?

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/SPORTMAX-XXR ... 563f74069a

as far as I know the supension and everything in the car is totally stock standard. would these just go on? On my other car ( a wee Corsa) i run 195/45/R16's would these suit or do we think they'd rub on... something...

Cheers
Blair

Those wheels will fit fine Blair. Tyres would need to be more like 205/55/16.

yeah even the 16X8 with the zero offset versions of those wheels will fit blair, with a 205/50 or 55/16 tyre.

Blair,

The JDMyard shop is in Revesby. I would go over and see them and have a look at the wheels in person. Yonas, Zi & Dave are nice guys, they will look after you.

They might have a different set of wheels there that takes your fancy.
