where did my power go? slowly my acceleration has depleted, no tourqe any more, no boost curve, just seems really flat, a vl crapadore beat me for god sake!! . i run 15psi boost, 450mm fmic, exhaust ect, is it just tired? is the the advance timing thingy suposed to see positive boost? whats wrong? :(

Welcome to the forum, mix78. You've probably killed your turbo at a guess.
Reduce fuel costs by 15-20% & cut emissions by 1/3rd...

thanx for your input mate, i was thinking the same, though it seems to spool up ok, a little smoke at ildle, but thats it, fuel pump maybe?

Howdy.
What have you checked/adjusted etc. Timing? Blocked or crushed exhaust, blocked cooler pipes? Wastegate actuator jammed open?

gday yhere, man, ive checkd everything, timing,@10 btdc, balance shaft timing is spot on, the only thing im yet to do is check the fuel pressure, this is driving me nuts,

Blocked fuel filter???
Had a similar problem many moons ago and after many $$$$$ it was a fuel filter that was ok on lo boost but as soon as 7+ went into it all sorts of farting and spluttering arrived
I've had mine since 03 07 92

buying a new fuel filter tday, should the vac advance see positive boost , or jusy vac???? howd that bonnet go old fart? :)

Might sound stupid but have you got a collapsed Cat or collapsed muffler?
That would easily cause all those problems.

the boost gauge says 14psi, as does the factory gauge, but it feels more like 7psi,really flat in power, and the exaust is fine,

found it i hope, big crack in manifold, and 2 broken studs, odd, it didnt sound like it was leaking, heres hoping
