Put some gass in it and fired up the fuel pumps this weekend and fuel poured out everywhere!!!!! The fuel rail I bought (cheap copy one) is leeking out from where the crush washer sits agaist the rail. Both ends :( Going to try a fibre washer instead. Also leaks from the surge tank where the fittings screw in. They are tight but still leak???? I tried thread tape but the gas just turned it to mush. Any idea's???
Thought this looked cool to, so took a pic :)

We use high pressure loctight thread sealant for fittings (usally hydraulic stuff but I would asume it will work for fuel too)
just give it a couple of days to cure

Yeah I know that now lol I just used the tape on the surge tank fittings and have a filter after the tank and b4 the injectors so should be sweet. But made sure I cleaned the surge tank out just in case.S0LJAH wrote:shit man never use thread tape on fuel fittings ever!!!
will turn to mush as you said and start wrecking your fuel pumps and injectors
yea get some threadlocker thats about all you can do
wat sorta cop setup is that?
The coil packs are from NZEFI. They have built ignitors so dont have to run a separate one and no waste spark :) And cost about the same as a new EVO type coil and ignitor.
Thanks man!!!!!redzone wrote:man this thing looks awesome!
It was frustrating the hell out of me in the weekend.... And I think Ive got the wrong clutch fork in it too. Ive used the fork from the B2200 box, but its longer. So the slave cylinder rod pushes at an angle and the pedal is soft. Its around 25mm longer from the pivot point to where the slave rod pushes against it than the starion one. And I remember reading on Project Zero G that the starion and the RX7 clutch fork were the same length. So Im guessing that extra leverage is making it feel soft.

Just thought Id put a pic up.
Got the intake tube and strut brace chromed, the intercooler piping powder coated inside and out. And mounted the coil packs.
It goes in this Saturday to have the computer wired up and a run in tune done :)
