Looks good oldie, hopefully you will make the next autocross, will be good to see 3 starions competing.

Have you given any thought to how much the motor is going to torque over under heavy right foot? Those hoses don't have much length in them to flex... might cause a rupture in your upper IC/TB connection and/or your relocated thermostat?

Instlal an engine damper?

Looks awesome btw :)

There should be no problems with the short hose from the remote thermostat housing to the radiator as the ally pipefrom the bottom of the RTSH to the back is connected to Gregs adaptor at the back of the head with a 90 deg radiator hose so there is plenty of flex there
Never had any probs with the intercooler connections in the past
But you do have an Eagle eye for detail :) :beer

You can still buy cusco ones off the shelf.

oldie

are you letting the water flow though the thermostat slighlty when its closed (.i.e drilled a hole(s) in it) or have you got a bypass line?
mines setup like urs and ive recently disconnected the bypass line and wondered bout how long the water sits in the block before the water next to the thermo gets before it opens and actually flows
hotspots?

its seems to work ok, takes longer to warm up tho

setups looking good, keen to see hwat numbers it pulls :D

From all that I know unless you run the bypass, you need to drill some small holes around the thermostat to let 'some' coolant through until the thermostat opens fully.

Any thoughts from others welcomed. :beer

yea ive got one small hole in my thermo but it is hardly flowing much, hence the long warm up times i think
i used to run the bypass however when pushing the car really hard :twisted: it had a tendency to overheat a bit and i can only imagine this is because of the amount of water that is not being cooled and simply getting pumped straight back into the block

its something ive tried to find an answer for but no one really knows or talks about so definately keen to hear what others have to say

Why not put the termohousing closer to the "outlet-adaptor"?
Or IN the adaptor?
