Real long shot but if anyone knows where i can get some new performance rear rotors in either aussie or NZ can you let me know where and any part numbers if possible?
Trying to avoid getting them from the USA due to the horrendous shipping costs, but need them soonish so if anyone can help LMK.
Cheers

i got my rear rotors from the states before i knew that there was an aussie outfit cost me $450ish to land at my doorstep
87 GSR-V, Factory DASH, Rebuilt bottom end with arp rod bolts and balance shafts removed, head reconed with 3 angle valve grind, TD05 housing machined out to take Garrett T4 internals, rebuilt and cryoed gearbox
Cant find any details of the aussie outfit online. Have found them on US ebay for $74 USD which isnt too bad.bridgey wrote:i got my rear rotors from the states before i knew that there was an aussie outfit cost me $450ish to land at my doorstep
Add on bout $135USD shipping and total ends up bein about $325NZD shipped so if i cant find anything here or in aus mite just do that.
yeah thats about right, awesome brakes though completely worth it in my opinion(they look cool too!)

Yeah not really worried about looks as theyre for a car which is gonna be used mainly for Targa and track work so function over form.bridgey wrote:yeah thats about right, awesome brakes though completely worth it in my opinion(they look cool too!)
Would keep standard rotors on rear but they are rather ridged, so mite as well continue the trend of replacing everything on this car with new stuff :)

Ah true didnt think about the flat rate boxes. The 2 of them way 22lbs apparently, now just gotta see if they will fit :) Cheers for that mateMainstreaM wrote:Shipping from the states for just a set of rears should be way less than 135. If they'll fit in that last box I sent you and weigh less than 25lbs, it should be around 40 USD.

I got my package of 4 shipped over from the US....
Aparrently, the 2 rears fit in a large flate rate box that cost around US$54, whereas the front disc rotors fit
in each of the medium flat rate boxes ie., 2 boxes for the front discs.
From memory, R1 Concepts only ship express, so you may need to convince them to use flat rate boxes (that do
have tracking) or use another supplier....

I haven't put them on, so I can't comment on quality and any braking improvement. The rears I got were for both 4 or 5 stud.
From memory, the total cost for handling and postage was around US$150-160 for the 4 rotors.
