Plastic wiring clips

Post by MrBishi »

Does anyone know if you can still get the plastic wiring clips that are used from factory? They are a flat loop that clips around wiring loom and attach to a hole in the body that basically keep the wiring in place.
I have been removing the bulk of the wiring firewall forward and removal seems to be a largely destructive process. I reckon I’ve had to remove 30 that I’d like to replace.
I’ve not seen them aftermarket, but wonder if they are still available from Mitsi?
Can take a photo if no-one knows what the hell I’m talking about.

oh those ones.
I thought he meant the ones that are undo-able and you have to cut them off to remove the wire.

You can pull them out without breaking them. I finally worked that out after stripping the 1/2 cut. Just squeeze the inside point with a pair of long nose pliers and push it back out. I was going to check with an auto sparky when I string it all back in place.

I can get the loop off the body easy enough, but can't 'un-loop' them without munting them totally.
