Build up of Track Car
Hey Greg I believe your old motor is making a "DASH " north to the Sunshine State where some young wipper snapper has been getting faster & faster at my old hunting ground the IWMAC Autocross/dirt sprint track
I've had mine since 03 07 92

THE OLDER I GET THE FASTER I WAS

I dont intend to build a fast track car just a car that is together and can be used on the track. Im not interested in brake upgrades, power or super sticky tyres. I had a ball years ago in my standard JD on the track. To be honest I have everything I need to make a runner except a turbo ( well i have one but maybe its a bit sick. I think a standard car would be a good idea to be able to teach my son about car control, I think the track is the greatest place to do this. Can you believe I thought understeer was a motoring writers over fertile imagination until I went into turn one at Oran park the first time and it just went straight ahead ! Bliss :)

a lot of track guys use a pedal box setup with 2 brake masters and one clutch master, no booster as it takes away feel, looks like greg has done his own version of that :)
Fibreglass airdams $370, fibreglass front bumpers $260, reco drag links $165, alloy radiators $925 (unpolished), h/l switch rebuilds $125, all plus freight.

As Redzone said, booster gone. 2 master cylinders, one for front and one for rears. The normal brake pedal is gone and a Willlwood adjustable pedal box installed instead to allow for bias adjustment front to rear.
The whole brake system is non Starion using bigger rotors and calipers all round.
Will post up pics of brake set up soon.
Note: the setup is for track use only - doubt it would pass for road use

Never argue with an idiot, it brings you down to their level and they beat you with experience.

TRACK CARS ROCK!!!!!
You will have to bring it to Queensland Raceway one day so BCFH can meet POS-5 :)
How did you remove the tar, how long did it take and how much weight did it remove?
