UPDATED: Targa Tassie Here We Come!

Post by JJH »

Thanks so much for all the support guys, it is very much appreciated and I apologise for not responding earlier.
So, it is difficult to come down after Targa and especially hard to drop back into the day-to-day drudgery after having lived a dream.
Coming 5th in class was a buzz, but I feel we could have gone a little better had we been more aggressive with the boost level.
The car ran like a dream even though I treated it like a rental, and I fear there's quite a lot of work needed in the clutch/gearbox area to get it back to scratch.
Anyway, thanks again and I'll hopefully get some time soon to get some pics up.

Well, it's time for all the talking to stop and time to see what our baby can do.
Here's a couple of pics, there'll be a stack more over the next week or so.

We hop on the boat tonight at 8:00 pm, then we've got a couple of sponsor events on Saturday and Monday, documentation & scrutiny on Sunday and then the real fun kicks off on Tuesday.
I'll try and get some posts up during the event, if not, the Targa web site should have daily updates.

A big thank you to all of our wonderful sponsors for helping us get this far: Docklands Yacht Charters, Statewide Locksmiths, Correct Computer Services,
Cylon Systems, Aussie Boat Covers, Garage Redzone, Signamics and Lilydale Brake & Clutch.

Wish us luck, and if your around Launceston over the next week, then make sure you pop by and say hello.

Very nice.

Thats the only reason I never wanted a sponsor. I didn't like all the stickers.

But it looks very nice on your car. Hope you do well. Good Luck
