my new hack

Post by gilby »

brought this on sat, its a 82 gsrIII, drove it 160km home and it cruises pretty sweet. seems to be lackin a bit in power so a good tune up is on the books, the auto probably doesnt help eitha. its got no wof so hopefully get that sorted this week, its only done 130ks and has been owned by an old guy for the last 15 years who used it to go to the golf course. motor sounds mint and blows no smoke at all. im loving the old skool mags, just wanna drop it a couple of inches and mabye a quick panel and respray in the future that will do for this 1, dont wanna spend to much on it, still got my other 2 to get sorted  enjoy

Good score mate.
I saw that on trade me, looked to be a good deal....

Loving those mags too :) And that big bore lol That maybe holding the power back a bit. I had a starion a few years back with a exhaust like that, and I put a bigger rear muffler on it and it made a world of difference.

took it for a wof this week. doesnt need bugger all. just a seal in the steering box, sway bar mount bushes and a few bulbs etc, so its not gonna be split into parts yet. shuld be all legal soon. will have to go 4 a cruise lyndon. once its legal im going to concentrate on my whiter one.
