Viewing my monitor is like looking into a time machine. Amazing to see the condition of your old school rides... even more so, how they're upgraded. Very nice!!
Reminds me of gavs'?? cool grey 2.6 mpi one shown here years ago.

Your car is screaming old school cool now :D Keep up the great job.
I LUV the body lines of those mitsu wagons! So much that I bought a plain old Lancer fwd version a few years back, for a RWD conversion, and to host my 4g63 dohc motor..... after I'm done playun with the sohc mitsu motors.
Also got the rear floor pan and front clip donor bits. Final project planned(I think). Going low/killer stance on serious wheels(deep 18s on rear)
take of the rusty roof racks and fill the guards with some decent dish... is it rwd? if so.. i want one..

1973 HC Vauxhall Viva. 1256cc RWS 4spd.
rusty roofracks are stayin, I put them on there purposely in fact :P I'm waiting for the wheels to come back from being widened an extra 3" (out to 7" wide) which should fill the guards out enough. I'm sort of going for the hoodride look for it if you're familiar with that.

I'm similar, my newest car is an 88 + 3 Starions and a Mini coming up.
Good job on the plate as well
Haha cheers man, I must admit I was never really into Vauxhalls (let alone any British car..) until it came along into my possession. Still have to do the other plate too, I don't like the new font plates, although they look a bit better with the black background.
yeah I know you can flip them, but you gotta machine the inside lip then to make it look as good as the outside lip, plus the tyre valves will be in the wrong place - and with the fronts being +20mm offset they'll look stupid with more dish flipped on the front than the rears.
I've just finished converting the front to 'magnum' four headlamp and grille:
and I've widened the factory 4" wide steel rims out to 7" wide (offset is now -9), trial fit with a 165/65 stretched over and original hubcap back in the centre:
Have now got a set of 175/60s to go on once I finish sandblasting and painting the rims (a grey/light graphite colour).
those SSRs are sexy man.. don't need to do anything to them for the extra dish or whatever.. they look fantastic the way they are on your car now
