ANYTHING is possible, i have a GSR-V bonnet from a jap nose cut and it has a scoop on it, GSR-V's werent supposed to have the scoop, but this one did. has the original GSR-V emissions stickers on it showing the finned cover and throttle body etc...
also apparently some dealer in england had stock of JA type bonnets, and offered them as a "dealer option". so yes some pommy ones could have come over like that, but not necessarily from japan. (info from steve flint)
