Warning-large pics-DYNO RESULTS NOW IN- shes quick!!!

Post by ukstariont3 »

well, after a lot of messing around over the past year and a half, i have decided to bite the bullit and go mpi.

heres a few pics of the parts i have put together.

Image large throttle body

Image mpi manifold

Imagesensors etc

Image standard injector on the left and larger injector on the right.

Image my engine bay now.

Image

Image my turbo.

if you dont know already, my widebody starion has had a bit of a hard time after being stolen etc.( still not found out who it was :glare: )

the engine has wisco forged pistons, cometic headgasket, ported/polished head, balance shafts removed, fidanza alu fly wheel and act clutch, group A garrett t34(360 thrust bearing, maram shaft, .50 exit housing), cosworth intercooler.

the car is now being treated to; emerald ecu, custom wiring loom(proper job), 4x 720cc injectors, 65mm throttle body.
hoping after this, the car will run sweet and will be reliable???? but who knows???

has any one got a rough idea of what to expect power wise?? looking to run at around 25psi ish

comments are welcome :beer

hi mate.
that is a grumbly racing one from this forum, he made up a few batches of them.
have a rear brace to match too.

the edis modules are readilly avalible off current fords like the focus etc, and apprently makes things a lot better tuning wise.

hi, not 100 % about how to do the thermostat etc.
the manifold is from a 8v mitsubishi galant, evo 5 injectors, ford escort cosworth throttle body, coil pack/ignition is an edis set up from for- all zetecs use them(coil pack, tps, cam sensor).
hope that helps a bit??

heres a few more pics(sorry not that god again)- popped there yesterday to help with a few bits-

ecu- now mounted in the glove box

nigel rekons around 2-3 weeks and it will be running :D

I like the "2 or 3 weeks it will be running", followed straight after by "keep the comments coming"

You don't need our encouragement, you're doing it champ!

I wonder whether the Emerald EM is available in Australia, any1?

Those Optima batteries are excellent.

And the blue hoses everywhere look mad.
Reduce fuel costs by 15-20% & cut emissions by 1/3rd...
