Oldies JB

Post by OLD FART »

After nominating Kits megga $$$$$$$ JA for a story/feature in the Courier mail last year I emailed my details to the motoring writer Mark Hinchcliffe after seeing he wanted cars to write about, Was suprised to get a phone call within a couple of hours and an interview and photo shoot the next day/ yesterday,
They even took pics of the "man cave" as well as engine bay etc as well as asking heaps of questions about the build and specs.
I hope I didn't tell any fibs when I told them that there were app only 250 JB's sold here and only app 20 known roadworthy/Registered remaining.
Mark H is a syndicated writer so you will have to look out for it in your local papers as Kit's story appeared in the southern newspapers before the Brisbane papers.

Rad,
You are not far from the truth in relation to JB numbers...although I have not seen or heard of a JB past #224...but I think there are 230 something.
It's great that they are featuring your car and it's also significant that the Starion will hit 30 years of age in Feb 2012!

Dave you will find as you grow older you need more power to keep up with younger drivers as you will brake earlier and not be as quick/brave/fast around the corners :( LOL

Solid Gold :D

For all the time you spend on here it takes a newspaper article to finally see a photo of the famous donk.

Well done Rad, nicely sorted unit you've got. I'm sure it's a tonne of fun.

I think of it as increasing the value of "your inheritance" as you call it.

Nice one Rad. What's the readership of the Daily Telegraph?

Yeah, don't listen to the others, you're a handsome young bloke.

So you have more info about the brake conversion. Evo 4 rotors, didn't they need redrilling for four stud? And Nissan 'what' calipers?
Reduce fuel costs by 15-20% & cut emissions by 1/3rd...
Increase engine performance & prolong engine life...
How?
