Standard 2L SOHC had 8 valves, DASH 2L SOHC had 12 valves - two inlet and one exhaust per cylinder. This is not to be confused with jet valves. There are some pics of the 12 valve sohc 2L DASH head in one of the posts about the A184 that I made:

The fifth/six pages have some detailed pics of the 12 valve head.

Ah, thanks, and the Cyclone part? Do you think the JDM 2.6 had the Jet Valves?

Also, I have confirmation that the US-Spec '85-'89's were all A187's, I have a friend looking at his '84 as we speak.

Yes, the Cyclone part refers to the jet valve head.

Hey guys , notice it's a narrowbody chassis with widebody front guards and a 'flare kit' on the rear guards.... Interesting.....
