Hi Ken,old-school wrote:thanks
is it not possible or is it time waisting to just fit the complete twin cam motor?
.. im relativly new to the starions..& turbos for that matter
cheers ken
One of the guys on the starion uk website fitted an evo 8 motor to his starion. It is possible but a lot of hassle. Maybe drop him a line and see how much work was involved.

this subject has been covered so many times before! if u search for "scorpion gearbox" u should find the thread where i explained how to mate an EVO3 motor to a 2LT GE scorpion gearbox. there is a LOT of fkn around involved. or u can make an adapter plate like barney did.old-school wrote:i was sort of hoping a later motor would just bolt up to the starion 5 speed box
