white wheels

Post by Vulpes »

Flame me, blame me or maybe even agree with me but what do you reckon of my white wheels ? I like them, I think they suit the whole black and white theme going on with the exterior ?

Looks heaps better than when they were silver! i still think Rad's wheels would have looked awesome though..

finished LOL you crack me up Mal, when is a starion ever "finished" I am leaving for the states in two weeks and when I am back my family is gone for another four weeks so i am planning on painting up the JD front bar and maybe putting on the JB vents. So as you can see "finished" is only as it is now.

Definitely suit the car. I reckon you should leave it as a JA myself.

When are we cruising again??

There you go... Hoony's backed me up! Car looks great and leave it as smart looking JA! If you change the bumper, it's no longer a JA!!

Don't worry kath, its staying as it is. My next project is to rebuild the JB I bought from Mal. Mal and I talked today and it looks like I am going to convert it into a widebody and repaint it in yellow. I have everything I need, motor, gearbox etc. Just need to find some widebody rear quarters. Im off to LA in two week so I will have a look around there in some wreckers for some rear quarters and maybe some front guards. Cheers.

Vulpes, that looks brilliant! Don't change a thing, it is finished, turn your focus to the widebody project. You should be commended on how your car looks now, better than it ever came from the factory.

Daz, while you're at it you may as well send over a few sets of widebody conversion parts...

Wow, looks fantastic. I finally found a set of speedy 17" wheels for my JA that I'm bringing over to the powder coater in January. White spoke wheels suit these so well.

Why powder coat them ? I simply rubbed them back with wet and dry then sprayed them with HiChem Rust Not Epoxy paint. its very durable and shows no signs of chipping.

I'm not trying to hijack, just showing my agreement.
White wheels look good on white Starions, although mine have black centres...
