Before you swap the turbo, when you say it's leaking out the exhaust - what are the symptoms? Clouds of smoke? If the turbo seals are cactus you will get a lot of smoke.

What kind of turbo is on it now? Any markings on it?

Basically, any turbo will work as long as it fits.

If the car runs a suck-through carby setup (which sigma turbo had) the turbo you replace yours with will need a carbon seal in the turbo.

If its a blow through setup (where the turbo forces the air through the carby) you wont need the seal.

I have 4 spare t03s high flowed/rear wheels cut back.
new carbon seals (carbie setup)(sigma)
and 2 spare t04s (carbie setup)(yep suck through)
all have less than 5000K`s on them and an injection
setup wont help your smokie turbo
shoot me a PM

then I started breaking them (gotta get some spares)
and Im still locked into this Visious circle.
