Which cars came out with the rev counters that went to 9k?
Mine has one but I haven't seen any others.....

Thats what I thought..... mine is DASH powered.....
It seems to hit the rev limit fairly easy with no turbo drop off either.... (factory boost)
Turbo has written on the side of it 05 - 12A, does this mean it's a TC or TD??

The 12A wheel was in both the early TC's and late TD's. I think TC05's were only oil cooled on jap specs. My guess is yours is a TD..

Ok so if it's got water lines then it's a TD?

TC05s in JD were water and oil cooled.
Remember reading somewhere that Dash motors were Tc05 turbos
-JA Starion with JD bits , Forged engine, Heaps of mods (parked up)
-BFII XR6 Turbo Ute , Here comes 400hp for 2k :p

My DASH engine had a TD05-12a but it was from an Eterna.

Yeah cause the only thing that it says on the compressor housing is 05 - 12A, but judging by the size looks a bit bigger all round then the TC's that I have seen....
might try and get a pic up to show.
