FS: JA Staz baby
FS: JA Staz baby
Well, time has come for the silver Staz to find a new owner.
- Complete engine rebuild <5000k's ago, brand new head, hypereutectic pistons, timing assembly is brand new
- Body fairly straight, good paint, few minor rusty bits and a couple of dings
- Good tyres on 15" JB rims, 225's on rear, 215's on front (1 year old)
- Suspension needs work (bushes in rear end especially), shocks appear ok
- Good turbo, no smoke
- 2 1/2" exhaust (muffler and rear section is <1 year old)
- Tinted windows
- Needs new rear brake pads (I am happy to replace them)
- Needs door locks as I don't have a key for the current ones - will replace with solex locks or similar
- Interior worn, but not excessively
- 6 months rego as I just paid it last week
Currently doesn't have a roadworthy, but it should pass one without much effort. If someone is keen, i'll look at getting one.
Looking for somewhere in the region of $2500-3k, but i'm open to offers.

Hmm..
Needs:
Exhaust
Haltech wired up (probably with CDI)
Radiator
Intercooler
Intercooler piping
Turbo/fuel/clutch plumbing
Finish respray on little bits and pieces
Refit the brakes
A few 2jz parts that are worth a bucketload from Toyota
Well, that's the stuff I can think of! Probably a pile i've forgotten.. Actually it's not that bad - the expensive bits are the computer and the radiator. I just got the exhaust manifold modified so that the wastegate pipe doesn't touch the steering box anymore so that means I can bolt the turbo up now and work on some cooler piping.
